Reliable choice for Belfast tours

This was my third time using Belfast City Sightseeing, and they were as consistent as ever. I did the Giant's Causeway Tour from Belfast this time, having done the hop-on hop-off before. The bus was clean, the driver was friendly, and the schedule was kept well, which I appreciate. They always provide a solid, no-nonsense tour experience. It's why I keep coming back when I visit Belfast; you know what you're getting, and it's always good value for what they offer. The pick-up point was easy to find, just like my previous tours.

Easy way to see the city

I booked the Hop-on Hop-off Tour for my trip last month. It was super easy to get tickets online and find the bus. The commentary was interesting, not too dry. We hopped off at the Cathedral Quarter for a bit and then got back on. The bus came pretty regularly, so we didn't wait long. Definitely a chill way to see Belfast without much fuss.

Good tour, some minor issues

I took the Hop-on Hop-off + Titanic Tour recently. The online booking process was smooth, and the bus frequency was decent, maybe every 20-25 minutes. The tour provided good context for the city's history, and the Titanic Belfast entry was convenient. My only small gripe was that the audio commentary on my particular bus had a few patchy spots where it cut out for a second or two. Otherwise, it was a valuable way to experience Belfast and the Titanic Museum.

Convenient, saw a lot

Booked the Open-top Bus Tour. Easy to find the stop. Commentary was informative. Saw all the main sights in a few hours. Good value for money. Would use again for a quick overview.

Loved the combo tour!

I just got back from my trip and had to write a review! I did the Hop-on Hop-off + Causeway Tour and it was fantastic. Everything was so well organized from start to finish. The bus for the Giant's Causeway was comfortable and the views were just incredible. Our guide gave so many interesting facts without being boring. I got to see so much of Belfast and then explore the Causeway all in one go. I will absolutely book with them again on my next visit!

Anyone know if you can actually buy tickets on the bus? Or do you gotta book online first?

J Justin Anderson 2 weeks ago
You totally can buy them on the bus, but you save a bit if you book on their website. It's like a small discount, but hey, every little helps.

I bought mine on the bus last year when I was there, no problem. Cash or card. But like the other person said, there's a small online discount.

Is it easy to get a student discount? Like, do I just show my student ID?

K Katie Mitchell 2 weeks ago
I think so, yeah. They usually ask for proof, so just have your student ID ready when you book or if you're buying in person.

Yeah, just show your valid student ID. I got one for my niece when we went. Pretty standard process.

Anyone done one of their combo tours, like the Hop-on Hop-off + Titanic + Causeway? Is it good value?

W William Lopez 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I did the HOHO + Titanic one and felt like it was decent value. Saved a few quid compared to buying them separately, and everything was pretty seamless.

I did the HOHO + Causeway + Titanic. It was a long couple of days but definitely saved some money booking it as a bundle. Worth it if you want to do all three big things.

What's the deal with Giant's Causeway tours? Is it a whole day trip or just like a few hours?

S Susan Smith 1 week ago
Oh, that's definitely a full day. You're out there for a good while, so plan accordingly. Totally worth it though!

D Danielle Martin 1 week ago
Yeah, it's a long one. They pick you up in the morning and you're back in Belfast in the evening. Don't plan anything else for that day.

Does the hop-on hop-off bus go by the Peace Walls? Wanna see those for sure.

J Jessica H. 3 weeks ago
Yep, it does. That's one of the main stops on the route, you'll get a good look.

For sure, it hits the Peace Walls and the murals. You can hop off there and explore a bit then catch the next bus.
